      Emi Tarkington is a 14-year-old girl who loves her family and her horse.

Hi, this week has been really stressful with a lot of adoption issues and behavioral problems from people, so I haven't really been on top of posts this week. Sorry! I did find something out though. For me, a really nice, smooth rock is a gret stress reliever, as is bending wire. I'll have to post a picture sometime, but I took a 9" bunch of copper wire and twisted it into a tree. It was really relaxing and didn't take a long time, and I used clear tacky glue to stick it to a river rock I had. It's on a shelf next to my bed right now. Just in case you are really stressed out and have a bunch of copper wire handy! Here's a picture of the real thing. Very relaxing. It's availible from freewallpaper4.me .      This morning  we were looking at this webcam with a bunch of SUPER CUTE bulldog puppies! The black and white one was in a playful mood, wrestling with one of the brown puppies and whipping around the yellow stuffed animal duck. Visit PeltoBulldogges.com to see pictures of the parents and other puppy cams. If you like webcams, UStream.com is definitely the place to be. You can see anything from a live baseball game to rehabilitated gray squirrels! One of our favorites in the webcam world is a puppy cam. Choose basically any breed, and you can watch them sleep and play, live! Here is the "Basset Puppies" cam:

I hope you all had a great Christmas. We are still celebrating! Thank you for bringing us to almost 200 hits this year, I am hoping to reach that mark in a couple of months. Something else I am working on is my book, Emi's Battle, which will be published to Kindle April 20th. I added four characters since my first draft, so I have quite a bit of writing to do! But my researching phase is COMPLETE! and I am super happy to get to my favorite part of the process...writing!
